Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al Kaabi, the Department of History held its first regular meeting for the academic year 2024-2025.

The meeting included discussing and addressing the problems and obstacles that the department suffers from regarding the distribution of study materials and forming committees to address the increase in the number of faculty members and granting equal opportunities for all in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The Dean listened to the suggestions made by some professors, which aim to develop the department and raise the level of its academic performance.

The Dean gave directives calling for cooperation and solidarity in an atmosphere of familiarity while adhering to university values. The meeting concluded by setting a date for another meeting next week to follow up on the procedures that he decided to implement and advance a distinguished department such as the History Department 2024-2025.
