The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar on cybersecurity between challenges and ambitions in Iraq.

The seminar, which was moderated by the Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, Assistant Lecturer Rasul Ali Hussein, and attended by Engineer Hussam Mohammed Al-Qatrani, aims to clarify the importance of cyber security systems, types of cyber attacks, how to confront them, secure accounts, and block the path of cyber attackers from accessing accounts.

The seminar included pivotal topics related to the cybersecurity challenges facing institutions in Iraq in light of the rapid development of technology, ways to enhance data protection, how to confront cyber attacks, and the role of awareness in building cyber-secure societies' future ambitions to establish a strong digital infrastructure that supports information security in Iraq were also discussed.
