The workshop, presented by Engineer Ahmed Mujbil, the Public Relations Officer of the Foundation, included an introductory overview of the foundation and its working mechanism, covering the following points:

 1. The foundation was established in 2006 by the Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani (may God prolong his life), granting Al-Ain Foundation the legal authority to care for orphans and the poor and to receive funds mentioned in the foundation’s authorization, which covers six points including religious dues, zakat, expiations, and vows. The foundation gained the authority to collect these funds, focusing on orphans under the age of 15 from all sects and religions across Iraq’s 14 provinces.
