Within the framework of cooperation between the university and other governmental foundations in the service of society, a team from the Information and Libraries Department, in coordination with the Quality Division and the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Arts / University of Basra, visited the Central Public Library in the Basra Governorate for the purpose of opening the prospects for cooperation and seeing the latest electronic programs approved by them especially with regard to the virtual library program, electronic programs, the exchange of books and digital resources, as well as the benefit from the application of the telegram program in establishing a digital library. The library management represented by Mr. Maras and the employees have shown their willingness to cooperate fully and open the field of exchanging experiences and increasing electronic information.
