The College of Arts organizes a seminar entitled The Possibilities of Prediction in the Arabic Sentence

On Wednesday, 13/1/2021, the Arabic Language Department organizes a seminar entitled "The Possibilities of Prediction in the Grammar of the Arabic Sentence

The seminar presented by Dr. Saad Faragallah  included the concept of linguistic prediction by two tests: the first in the form of a hypothesis that precedes linguistic performance. The second was concerned with forecasting at the start of the synthesis, by observing the consolidation, then verifying their realism based on the strength of the prediction.

The seminar aimed to trace prediction and its capabilities in the direction of the Arabic sentence by monitoring its status and its rates of effect, in order to benefit from this concept to support the theories of language acquisition, language development or language learning, whether for non-native speakers or for patients.

The researcher recommended to pay attention to the topic of prediction in the sentence linguistically, and to urge researchers to engage in verifying the validity of the theories or hypotheses for this purpose by adopting the rules of public and private grammar.
