On Tuesday 12 / 1 / 2021, the Department of Library and Information Students organized a seminar titled "Ethics for Library and Information Students". This session delivered by Hashim Shareef included the concept of 'ethics': its philosophical, logical, religious, and social dimensions. It means commitment to principles, values and conducts for individuals and it shows its negative and positive effects upon the society and the institution.

The session aims to explain the role of universities in adopting the scientific curricula for the various specializations that reflect the situation of teaching ethics for the students in the said department in particular. This is done in a course aiming at anchoring the term for the success of the information services in particular offered to those benefiting from disciplined ethics.
