
The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education and Development and the Translation Department, held a virtual session to train first-year students to use electronic platforms for the period (19-21) January, 2021, at 8 P.M. through the Free Conference Call program.
The session presented by Dr. Jassim Khalifa Sultan and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Zahra Al-Hussein. It included the concept of e-learning and its pros and cons, ethics and obstacles, as well as the most important e-learning platforms and the features of each platform.
The session aimed to train students practically the steps of creating a Gmail and using it to download the Google Classroom platform, the mechanism of joining the electronic classroom, and the Google meet on phones and personal computers.
