The instructors of the translation department received the first year students. The reception committee consisting of Dr. Jassim Khalifa, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Zahra and Mr. Ahmed Fakher received the first year students in the translation department. After welcoming them, the instructors explained the health and safety procedures and instructions related to social distancing and wearing masks when entering the department.

The students reception process included a department tour to introduce students to the department's administration offices, student classrooms, the language and translation laboratory, and others. The committee also addressed a detailed explanation of the registration mechanism through the electronic form prepared by the department, how to join the Google Classroom application and how to install the applications attached to the Google Classroom application like Google meet app, zoom app, etc.

The meeting aimed to let the new students know the health and safety guidelines,  the department, and the centralization of work through the work of electronic sites through which students are informed of instructions, schedules, requirements and everything related to the students and enable them to overcome the difficulties they may face in future.
