As part of strengthening academic cooperation between the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts and the Basra Public Central Library, the department organized an academic visit on Sunday, 21 December 2025. The visit was attended by the department head, a number of faculty members, and students from the first and fourth academic years.

The visit aimed to introduce participants to the library’s various sections and the services it provides to beneficiaries, as well as to explore the available information resources, both traditional and electronic, and their role in supporting the educational and research process.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the library administration and all staff members for their warm reception, generous hospitality, and fruitful cooperation.
