At the invitation of Imam Al-Kadhim University College for Islamic Studies – Basra Departments, Dr. Siraj Mohammed, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, participated in a scientific seminar held on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day.

In his contribution, Dr. Siraj addressed the scientific and value-based status of the Arabic language and its role in building cultural and intellectual identity. He also recited two poetic texts for the occasion, in the presence of a distinguished audience of faculty members and students.

The seminar was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Rubaie, and the Head of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences, Dr. Jaafar Al-Jazairi. At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Siraj Mohammed was honored with a shield from Imam Al-Kadhim College in appreciation of his scientific and cultural participation.
