Entitled “Ideas originate from the land of the two rivers” and under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and with the follow-up of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbas, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, the Deanship of the College of Arts hosted the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week with the participation of the colleges of the Bab Al-Zubair site.

The events were held on Monday, February 9, 2026, in the gardens and halls of the college of Arts, from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM, amidst an academic presence and active participation from students and faculty members.

The program included a range of pioneering activities and events aimed at promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, developing creative thinking skills, as well as highlighting the importance of youth initiatives and their role in supporting sustainable development and creating promising future opportunities.
