In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, the Assistant Dean of the College of Arts for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi, supervised a tree-planting campaign in the gardens and corridors of the College of Arts. The campaign involved a number of faculty members, employees, and students of the college.

The initiative aims to increase green spaces within the university campus and promote environmental awareness among students, in addition to adding an aesthetic character that aligns with the academic environment and contributes to creating a suitable atmosphere for study.

During his supervision of the campaign, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi emphasized the importance of preserving the university environment and caring for green spaces. He noted that such initiatives enhance the spirit of cooperation and volunteerism among students and help strengthen their sense of belonging to their college and university.

This campaign is part of a series of activities carried out by the College of Arts in support of environmental initiatives adopted by the University of Basrah, reflecting its commitment to improving the campus environment and serving the community.
