

The Department of History in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a seminar for postgraduate students titled: “The Intellectual Transformation of the Concept of the Husayni Revolution among Muslims and Orientalists,” presented by Master’s student Abdul-Jalil Manati Mahdi.
The seminar addressed the intellectual transformations in understanding the Husayni Revolution by reviewing the different perspectives of both Muslims and Orientalists, with a focus on the intellectual and analytical dimensions that dealt with this important historical event.
The seminar witnessed the attendance of a number of professors and postgraduate students, where scientific discussions took place that enriched the topic and contributed to highlighting the diversity of intellectual readings of the Husayni Revolution and its impact on contemporary historical studies.
