In a distinguished celebratory atmosphere, and as part of the activities marking the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah, the Deanship of the College of Arts organized an honoring ceremony under the supervision of the Dean, Professor Dr. Majid Abdulhamid Al-Kaabi, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abdulridha Al-Tamimi, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Khafaji.

The ceremony recognized outstanding faculty members and employees in appreciation of their academic and administrative efforts during the 2025–2026 academic year, and in acknowledgment of their significant contributions to advancing the academic process and enhancing the quality of its outcomes.

This recognition comes as part of the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of creativity and excellence, celebrating continuous dedication, and supporting efforts that contribute to the advancement of both the college and the university, as well as strengthening the academic and administrative work environment.

The event was attended by a number of faculty members and staff, with the college administration emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in supporting talents and motivating them toward further achievement and excellence.
