The College of Arts futsal team achieved third place in the University of Basrah President’s Cup for the 2025–2026 academic year, marking the second consecutive year it has ranked among the top three teams. The championship title was won by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, while the College of Education for Human Sciences secured second place.

The third-place trophy was awarded during the final match by the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences. In turn, the trophy was presented to the Dean of the College of Arts, adding to the college’s notable achievements across various competitions and activities at the University of Basrah during the current academic year.
