The Deanship of the College of Arts / Student Activities Division organized a volunteer visit on Wednesday, April 16, 2026, as part of its mission to promote humanitarian initiatives. The visit was conducted by the volunteer team of College of Arts students, under the supervision of the Student Activities Division, to the Basrah Specialized Children’s Oncology Hospital.

The volunteer team distributed gifts to hospitalized children and provided financial assistance to the families accompanying them in the hospital wards.

Professor Dr. Abdulameer Hashim, supervisor of the volunteer activity, stated that such humanitarian initiatives help bring joy to the children in the hospital, highlighting the role of College of Arts students in promoting social responsibility and community service.
