Professor Dr. Amal Saleh Al-Kaabi, a faculty member in the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts / University of Basrah, was awarded the International Creativity Medal during her participation in the 7th Iraqi International Creativity and Innovation Forum, held from April 15–16, 2026.

This recognition came in collaboration with the Department of Research and Development, the University of Al-Kut, the University of Babylon, and Al-Mashreq University, in appreciation of her distinguished efforts in the success of the forum and her active contribution to achieving its scientific objectives.

Her participation also included a presentation of her book titled “Diseases of Hot Environments: A Study of Spatial Characteristics and Health Challenges,” which examines major health issues associated with hot environments and analyzes their geographical characteristics.
