The University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the Intellectual and Jihadist Approach of the Martyred Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him)and his Role in Building Awareness and Confronting Challenges

In the presence of the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Basra, Ali Abedi, members of the university council, and a number of political and social figures.

During his opening remarks at the  seminar, University President Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim al-Asadi stated: "This seminar is being held to commemorate the fortieth day since the martyrdom of the nation's martyr and leader of the mujahideen, Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him). His presence was not fleeting in the nation's time of hardship, but rather a deeply rooted approach and a progressive jihadist stance, reflecting a profound sense of mission and a constant readiness to sacrifice for the sake of truth." He added: "As we remember these immense sacrifices, we affirm that universities are not merely educational institutions, but arenas for cultivating awareness, platforms for shaping positions, and centers for preparing a generation imbued with a resistant ideology, a deep understanding of the magnitude of the challenges, and the ability to confront campaigns of misinformation and deviation."

For his part, political researcher Mr. Amir Al-Mousawi emphasized in his research paper during the seminar: “The approach of the martyred leader Ali Khamenei, may God be pleased with him, was an integrated project that combined thought and action, word and stance, insight and steadfastness, to confirm that jihad is not just an immediate confrontation, but rather a long path of awareness, construction and steadfastness, in which the will of the nation is formulated and its identity is preserved.”

Al-Moussawi continued: "The martyred leader, may God be pleased with him, instilled in the hearts of the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran a strong faith and unwavering resolve in confronting the brutal Zionist-American aggression. The Iranian people have demonstrated the most magnificent examples of heroism and steadfastness behind their wise leadership in thwarting their malicious schemes to sow discord among the peoples of the Islamic nation." Al-Moussawi concluded by thanking the University of Basra for hosting this seminar and for its contribution to strengthening the bonds of Islamic unity between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples, including the collection of financial and in-kind donations to aid the Iranian people.
