The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts, University of Basrah Organized Two Panel Discussions  with the Participation of the Department Professors


The first panel dealt with the topic of generative intelligence, presented by Professor Dr. Hala Ghaleb Al-Nahi, in which she addressed the concepts of this type of intelligence and its most prominent modern applications in scientific research and content creation, in addition to the ethical challenges associated with it.

The second panel, entitled "The Role of Libraries in Preserving National Heritage," was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ikhlas Abdul-Amir. She highlighted the importance of libraries in preserving cultural memory and documenting heritage for future generations.

For her part, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Amal Abdul-Rahman, emphasized the importance of these academic activities in enhancing students knowledge and awareness, noting the department's commitment to keeping pace with modern developments and linking them to the preservation of cultural identity.
