The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts held a ceremony on Sunday, 3/5/2026, honoring a number of retired faculty members and employees in appreciation of their efforts in serving the academic and administrative process.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Ridha Al-Tamimi, in addition to the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Amal Abdul Rahman, with the participation of a distinguished group of the department’s faculty members.
The honorees included Lecturer Lubna Qasim Mohammed Raouf, Assistant Lecturer Maha Salim Khalaf, Assistant Lecturer Shakir Tahir Basht, as well as employee Azhar Ward Samsam, in recognition of their contributions throughout their years of service.
The College Deanship emphasized the importance of honoring distinguished competencies that contributed to the development of academic work, while the department presidency expressed its appreciation to the honorees and wished them continued health and success in their future lives.
