The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, held an expanded meeting for the teaching staff in the presence of faculty members to discuss preparations for conducting final examinations for undergraduate studies, as well as to review examination regulations and instructions to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations in accordance with approved procedures.

The meeting addressed the responsibilities of the Examination Committee in organizing schedules, receiving and delivering examination booklets, and following up on emergency cases, while stressing the necessity for faculty members to adhere to ministerial instructions and provide a suitable examination environment for students.

The meeting also witnessed extensive discussions among the attending faculty members regarding the most significant challenges that may face the examination process and ways to address them in a scientific and organized manner. 

In her statement, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Amal Abdulrahman, affirmed the department’s commitment to providing all necessary requirements for the success of the examinations and ensuring the principle of equal opportunities among students. She also stressed the importance of cooperation between faculty members and the Examination Committee to ensure the success of the examination process and achieve the required educational objectives within an organized academic environment.
