Professor Dr. Khalil Khalaf Bashir, lecturer at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, participated in the Eighth Annual International Scientific Conference of Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), organized by the International Union, by presenting a research paper entitled:
“The Contributions of Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) in Shaping Religious and Human Awareness.”
The research addressed the most prominent fields in which Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) contributed, including the religious field, dissemination of religious knowledge, doctrinal, social, and political fields. The researcher introduced the topic with an overview explaining that Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) represents a model of a conscious and mature woman.
The research aimed to highlight her leadership and intellectual role in building Islamic awareness and to analyze the human values she embodied in her life, such as altruism, patience, and social responsibility, in addition to clarifying her contribution to consolidating religious and doctrinal awareness and preserving the essence of religion.
The research also shed light on her personality as an integrated female role model who combined familial, missionary, and social roles, while emphasizing the importance of linking this rich heritage to contemporary society in order to benefit from its intellectual and humanitarian values.
This participation comes within the activities of the College of Arts in supporting scientific research and enhancing the presence of its lecturers in international scientific forums.
