The Student Activities Division at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, organized a volunteer initiative to decorate the corridors of the Department of English and the entrance of the Student Activities Division with artworks created by College of Arts students. The displayed oil paintings, produced over different periods by both morning and evening students, reflect the talent, creativity, and artistic capabilities of the college’s gifted students.

These remarkable works showcase artistic excellence that rivals specialized art colleges and will remain displayed on the college walls throughout the students’ academic years and even after their graduation.

Professor Dr. Abdulameer Hashim, Head of the Student Activities Division at the College of Arts, explained that this productive volunteer effort aims to present the hallways and corridors of the College of Arts in their most attractive appearance among the university’s colleges.
