The College of Arts discusses a Higher Diploma research entitled  The Events and Actions of the Scientific Conferences of the College of Art / University of Basra: An Analytical Study

       Higher Diploma research entitled Events and Actions of Scientific Conferences of the College of Arts/ University of Basra: An Analytical Study was discussed on Sunday morning, 10/04/2020 in the Department of Information and Libraries, College of Arts, University of Basra.        

      The research, which was introduced by the student Aya Al-Salman included four chapters. The first chapter discusses the general framework of the research, the second one examines the theoretical aspect and the third chapter deals with the practical part. Finally, the fourth and last chapter shows the findings and recommendations.

       The research discussed the analysis of university researches in the College of Arts/ University of Basra for the period 2012-2017.

      The research aims to identify the scientific researches that accomplished in the scientific conferences held at the College of Arts/ University of Basra, which are (183) "scientific research" for the period (2012-2017). The scientific conferences that held in the College of Arts are 6 conferences that included research in scientific, public and private specializations.

      The research recommends focusing on conducting applied researches that contribute to solving an educational or social problem. In addition to that, the head of the departments in the College of Arts should encourage the teaching cadre to undertake applied researches in cooperation with the ministries. Moreover, the research recommends the Deanship of the College of Arts to pay serious attention to the role of other scientific departments to participate in holding specialized conferences.
