The President of Basra University, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, accompanied by the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majed Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, inspected in the field the progress of the examination process for higher studies students for the academic year 2020-2021.

The University President, during his inspection of the examination halls accompanied by the committee in charge of following up the examination process for higher studies students, indicated that the number of higher studies students participating in the examination process amounted to 178 among masters, doctoral and higher diploma students distributed into 6 departments in the College of Arts for the academic year 2020-2021.

The University President praised the efforts of the Deanship of the College and its departments, professors and students in adhering to the safety procedures and rules followed for the success of the attendance exams, as well as strengthening the components of the educational process in Iraq, assuring the students' keenness to acquire knowledge and overcome challenges in light of the decisions of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety.
