A Discussion of student Ahmed Abdul Karim Nasser

A master's thesis entitled "The Internal Developments in Egypt for the period (1991-2011):  A Historical Study, was discussed in the Department of History,  College of Arts.

The thesis, presented by the student Ahmed Abdel Karim Nasser, included four chapters. The first chapter dealt with internal developments in Egypt before Hosni Mubarak came to power. The second chapter included the political situation in Egypt during the reign of Hosni Mubarak (1991-2000).The third chapter involved the economic and social conditions in Egypt during the reign of Hosni Mubarak (1991-2000). The fourth chapter referred the internal conditions in Egypt (2000-2011).

 

       The thesis aimed to shed light on the internal developments in Egypt during the era of President Hosni Mubarak for the period (1991 – 2011), which focused on Egypt's internal political, economic and social conditions.

     The thesis concluded that all the political, economic and social developments and events, that were addressed in the thesis, had resulted in the downfall of the Egyptian ruling regime, after changing winds blew of the Arab Spring the in some Arab countries due to the policies of arbitrariness and marginalization against the popular democratic reality.
