Peace Culture Discourse and its Impact upon Social Peacefulness

Under the patronage of the dean of the college of Arts, Dr. Majid Al-Ka'bi, the unit of continuous education at the College of Arts of the University of Basra held a symposium titled " Peace Culture Discourse and its Impact upon Social Peacefulness" on Monday 29 / 03 / 2021. A number of different religious and sectarian clerics and university teachers took part in it.

The symposium aimed at highlighting the effectiveness of the Heaven message in spreading peace principles and enabling the brotherly and love spirit as well as community rapprochement to scaffold the effective role in the process of progress. 

It was recommended that serious dialogue among the different religions and sects should go on via holding conferences, symposiums, and seminars in universities especially humanities faculties like the college of Arts. In addition, a unit of civil and social peacefulness should be established to spread the awareness among the different groups of society. This is to support civil and social peacefulness and embodiment of educational concepts in the governmental institutions under the supervision of the university of Basra experts to shun the disagreements among Basra people. This will make love dominating in the society.

 

At the end of symposium, the dean of the college of Arts, Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Ka'bi, and his assistants, Dr. Haider Al- Tameemi and Dr. Mohammed Al- Kafaji honoured the participants and the organizers.
