In the presence of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul-Hamid Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts held a ceremony to honor retirees.

Al-Kaabi said that our prestigious educational institution presents the highest meanings of love and gratitude to the instructors of the faculty and staff who sacrificed their lives to advance the College of Arts and raise its social, educational and administrative status. This constellation has made great efforts throughout the years in which  served this prestigious college. On my behalf and the College of Arts, I wish you a new life, full of comfort and happiness, and you will always be in our hearts ... and in the memory of the College of Arts.
