Sponsored by the President of University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Majed Abdul-Hameed Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts at University of Basrah held a symposium entitled (The Voice of Truth Towards Sacred Liberation), coinciding with the International Quds Day and the Ramadan uprising against the brutal Zionist entity on Thursday 27/5/2021 .

Professors from outside of Iraq and from the University of Basrah participated in this symposium.

The symposium aimed on highlighting the suffering of our brothers in Palestine against the Zionist entity and the defense of the occupied Palestinian land.

The symposium recommended expanding the exposition of the oppression that the Palestinian people suffer from, by increasing media programs, preparing research and studies that prove the right of this land for the Palestinian people, and focusing on Jerusalem because it is not only for the Jews, but is the land of Ibrahim Al Khalil and other prophets.
