A Master's thesis entitled (The Use of Electronic Information Sources in University Theses in the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at University of Basrah) was Discussed in the Libraries and Information Department at the College of Arts.

The thesis presented by the student Abbas Abdul-Jabbar Ghadeer included four chapters, which dealt in the first chapter of the study with the general framework, while the second chapter dealt with the theoretical aspect, the third chapter dealt with the practical aspect, and the fourth chapter dealt with the results and recommendations.

The thesis aims to identify the number of university theses completed in the College of Physical Education and the electronic sources of information used in it.

The thesis concluded that the number of university theses reached (265), including (147) master's theses and (118) doctoral theses, and the lecture of Iman Hussein Al-Tai, assessment and measurement in physical education, won the first place.
