Dr. Kadhim Al-Ali of the department of translation participated in an international e-lecture titled "Iraqi Translational Attempts" as being invited by the Supreme Council of Arabic in Algeria on 15/7/2021.

The lecture included categorizing Al-Sayyab's products into a translational product motivated financially and the creative translational product. Then the poetic experience of abdul Razzaq Abdul Wahid was examined in the translation of the Mandaean Book Ginza Rba and his great efforts in decomposing the codes covering one of the most ancient religions in the world. In addition, well-known Iraqi translational attempts were tackled.

The lecture exposed the distinguished Iraqi translational attempts. It was concluded that there are Iraqi translational movements that worth being attended to.
