Part of its cultural season, the College of Arts at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture titled "Translation and International Literature: Perspectives from Translation Studies" by Dr. Samih Hanna from the UK on Tuesday 20/ 7 / 2021. The lecture was introduced by Dr. Kadhim Al-Ali. The lecturer  called for the concern in the theoretical frameworks and the conceptual and methodological tools facing Translation Studies in the last five decades, which helped reviewing lots of the axioms in translation and the international world and their interrelationships. Some of the instructors took turns in discussing and exchanging informations.
