The Council of the College of Arts at the University of Basra, during its session held on Thursday, 9/9/2021, honored a group of distinguished instructors of the college in encouragement and support for their continuous giving in the service of the college. The honoring included Prof. Dr. Maha Issa Al-Abdullah/Department of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Amal Abdul Rahman Abdul Wahed/Department of Information and Libraries, and Professor Dr. Shukri Ibrahim Al-Hassan/Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems.

Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al Kaabi, Dean of the College of Arts and President of the College Council, said that this honor came in honor of the distinguished efforts made by a group of college instructors in providing great efforts in their work and performing in the best way to serve the college and its students.
