Discussion of the student Areej Ahmed Ali

On Sunday morning 26/2/2022, a master's thesis entitled (a study of critical thinking skills in systematic reading books for learners of English at the university level) was discussed in the Department of English at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah.

The thesis presented by the student, Areej Ahmed Ali, included five chapters. The first chapter discussed the introduction to the study, the second chapter discussed the theoretical framework, the third chapter dealt with the research methodology, the fourth chapter dealt with data analysis, and the fifth chapter focused on the results and recommendations.

The thesis aims to identify the role of the curriculum and the extent to which it contains critical thinking skills

 The thesis concluded that the distribution of critical thinking skills in the curriculum is unbalanced.
