Dr. Abdul salam Al-Ogaili of the Translation department at the College of Arts/ University of Basra published a book titled :Translation Thinking.

The book has 140 pages encapsulating 7 research papers written by the author himself.

This book included various approaches to translation which are related to translation thinking, which was the dominant topic in this book.

The book aims at deepening the translator's view of translation thinking, which opened the door to the multiplicity of text meaning as well as its interpretation. In addition, Al-Ogaili pointed out that translating approaches should not restrict the meanings of a word or a text to one possible meaning. However, translators should dig deep between the lines to find out the implicit meaning intended to be conveyed in the source text.
